Matron of Honor

I have been friends with my dear friend Paige for almost a decade. We became friends when I moved to Alexandria, Louisiana and began going to Alexandria Senior High my junior year. We went on to going to LSU and both ended up in Houston, Texas where we each got engaged. Well technically she got engaged in a little town near Galveston, but that’s not the point.

In my wedding I only had 4 bridesmaids so I didn’t name a Matron or Maid of Honor however if I were to, I would have named her. She was so helpful when it came to all of the photography the day of and followed us all up and down the Rosemary Beach coast. Now, the tables have turned and she has asked me to be her Matron of Honor, not to toot my own horn, but I have stepped up to the task.

While she was enjoying Italy, I addressed 100 Save the Dates. Recently finished designing, printing and addressing 50 bridal shower invitations, and I know this is just the start. I really enjoy hand lettering addresses. They are always fun to create because the addresses are always different but hold a comfort in knowing the format remains the same.

Bridal Shower Invites

I’m writing this in advance because today is her bridal shower! I couldn’t post prior to her shower because the theme is a surprise to her.

  1. Hi I’m also getting married at the Pearl next spring and I absolutely love your hair and makeup! I was wondering if you hired someone from their preferred vendors list or did you find someone on your own? Thank you!!

    • Hi Kady! I actually chose to do my hair and make up myself since I wasn’t able to do a trial due to The Pearl being somewhat of a destination. I practiced many times and went to Sephora and Nordstrom to work on my wedding look. I’ll be posting a tutorial on my hair soon! πŸ™‚
