Last year when planning my wedding I had a lot of drive to want to make my own save the dates and invitations. I loved hand lettering the invitations and ended up doing some Christmas card addressing for some friends.
I wanted to share some ideas for you to try on your own for snazz-up your holiday cards this year. Some different things to change up and try are:
Font add some swirly’s to your letters, make them really thin, or wide, or use hand lettering technique which is THICK STROKES DOWN & THIN STROKES UP
Color for holiday cards I of course like using greens, reds, golds but to switch it up, do silver and an ice blue and draw some snowflakes
Size don’t be afraid to make the names really large and address really tiny, sure everything looks nice at all one size, but the fun starts when you push the limits
